Education
Master of Science in Game Design
2014 - 2015
Full Sail University, Winter Park, FL
Who knew you could go to school to study games? In this program I learned about sofware development methodologies, game design and how my skills could be applied towards game development. While I was taking classes, working on projects and game jams it became clear that User Interface was the area of games where I would direct my career. Working in a real game studio, with a team of developers, designers and artists allowed me to hit the ground running in my professional career.
Bachelors of Graphic Design
2002 - 2007
Universidad Nueva Esparta, Caracas, Venezuela
During my bachelor's degree, I started my career as a graphic designer working in advertising. I did print ads, billboards, promotional pieces and branding. Progressively I started discovering web design and animation, leaning my path towards interactive media. I created websites and multimedia presentations for corporate clients and eventually, apps. This made my transitions into games very natural and fun.
